Dog Coat Size Guide
Keeping your dog looking stylish is important, but not as important as keeping them warm and dry in the winter months. At WeatherBeeta, we have a wide variety of Dog Coats which offer comfort and protection. Getting the right fit is key to ensuring your dog benefits from the many features our coats have to offer - not only that, but they look great to.
We set our sizing, measured in centimetres or inches, based on the length of your dog - which is taken from the neck (if your dog wears a collar, this will be from where this sits) to the base of the tail. We recommend using a tape measure to get an accurate measurement.
Some of our coats will indicate other areas to measure - such as 'Drop' or 'Neck Circumference' - this depends on the style of the WeatherBeeta Dog Coat that you choose. The product page will have a relevant size guide associated with it - just click on the Size Guide link next to the to the sizing options to go straight to it.
Should your dog sit between sizes, we recommend opting for the larger size to best accommodate that.
Because our size charts are used for our other sites across Europe, we use letters to indicate different areas of measurement. These are outlined below:
A – this represents the size of your dog, and is the length from the collar to the tail.
B – this is the drop on your dog, which is the measurement from the top of the back, to the top of the leg.
C – the neck circumference of your dog
D – covers the area across the chest.
