Graduate eCommerce & Marketing Manager – France

We are excited to be looking for a Graduate eCommerce Marketing Manager covering our French territory. The role will be based remotely in the UK & with occasional travel to our site in Rushden, Northamptonshire. Weatherbeeta is a family owned global business founded in Australia and the world-wide leader in equestrian products for the horse and rider. We have been in the UK for over 25 years & the USA for over 20 years. Our enviable portfolio of brands includes market leaders WeatherBeeta, Dublin and Collegiate. While our heartland is equestrian, we also have an emerging pet products business.


At Weatherbeeta, we are proud of our track record in developing talent and promoting from within but we do occasionally look to add colleagues to our strong team. This role is to take ownership for the marketing of our brands and online sales through our French storefront and make a real impact within our ambitious company. If you are focused eCommerce graduate fluent in French, have an equestrian background and strong analytical skills, this role would be perfect for you.


There would be support and coaching available for the right candidate, enabling you to develop in the role and become a key member of our Company. What you will need are excellent organisational abilities, be customer focused, highly motivated, and able to work in a fast paced continually changing environment.


The Graduate eCommerce & Marketing Manager for France will be responsible for:

  • Be responsible for the delivery of the eCommerce business plan for France
  • Be responsible for the eCommerce metrics for France
  • Be responsible for the quality of the store front shopper experience in their assigned territory, while making it as efficient and cost effective as possible for Weatherbeeta
  • Be the online expert for colleagues across the business in their assigned territory
  • The jobholder also has responsibility for the offline marketing plan for France

The successful applicant will have proven eCommerce experience as well as:

  • Good people skills to influence colleagues and third parties
  • Ability to be proactive, set clear priorities and deliver them
  • Ability to plan and organize delivery of projects
  • Jobholder should be seen as a potential role model for Weatherbeeta competencies

Working as part of the eCommerce & marketing team, you will be responsible for:

  • The look & feel of our brands on in our French eCommerce store
  • Day to day running of the eCommerce website for France to deliver strong commercial revenues
  • eCommerce metrics across our French Storefront
  • Improving the quality of the store front shopper experience across our French Online Storefronts, while making it as efficient and cost effective as possible for Weatherbeeta
  • Be the online expert for colleagues across the business for France
  • Generating insights that help our retail partners be more successful in selling our brands on their webstores

What is needed to be successful in the role?

  • eCommerce experience and able to deliver results
  • Good people skills to influence colleagues and third parties
  • Ability to be proactive, set clear priorities and deliver them
  • Ability to plan and organize delivery of projects
  • Proven business and commercial knowledge
  • Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Navision or similar ERP system, Excel, Word, Power Point) plus GA experience and proficiency. Magento experience desirable. Social media marketing experience preferred

Flexible Working

Weatherbeeta supports working away from our sites. Home working is common across our business and will be supported for this role. Due to this, any candidates hoping to be considered must have adequate internet and connectivity of at least 18-20 mbps.

A home base in the UK is required to minimise the time differences when running the UK storefront & in working with colleagues across the Northern Hemisphere.
