Jodie Amos
Having grown up with her family in the South of France, Jodie first moved to the UK at the age of 19 to further her studies in History, French and Spanish at Nottingham University. Jodie was originally trained by Laurent Bousquet, one of eventing’s most highly respected riders having coached the Japanese, Belgium and French Senior Teams at Olympic level. Passionate about her horses and driven to make it to the top, Jodie is a complete perfectionist with a meticulous attention to detail, moulded by her time in France. Bilingual and very influenced by her overseas upbringing, Jodie has a love for learning and traveling which she manages to combine with her eventing, sourcing horses and teaching abroad. Jodie is ranked in the top 100 best riders in the UK having won all the way up the grades of British Eventing on a number of different horses. Internationally, amongst other results, she has won at CCI-L 2* and CCI-S 3*, finished in the top 3 at CCI-S 4* level as well as top 5 placings at CCI-L 4* including taking 3rd at the prestigious Blenheim Palace. In 2014, Jodie won the inaugural Britannia League for the highest ranked rider at CCI 4* level having not yet competed on a Senior British Team. Find out more about Jodie at: www.jodieamos.com |
